Nollywood box-office queen Funke Akindele has made history again with her upcoming film “The Four: No One Fights Alone.”The filmmaker announced on Monday, November 2, 2026, that the film will premiere at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London on November 29, 2026.
This makes it the first ever Nollywood title to premiere at the legendary 791-seat cinema.Odeon Luxe Leicester Square is one of London’s most prestigious cinemas. Opened in 1937, it is known for hosting royal premieres and major world premieres.
It was the UK’s first Dolby Cinema and is located at 24-26 Leicester Square.The film tells the story of Esosa and three fiercely loyal women whose fight for the future of a young man they love tests courage, faith and sisterhood. It explores friendship, loyalty, motherhood and resilience.The ensemble cast includes Funke Akindele, Bisola Aiyeola, Chioma Akpotha, Waje, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Timini Egbuson, Lateef Adedimeji, Ali Nuhu, Uzor Arukwe and Shoday.
The premiere is organised by Funke Akindele Network and FilmOne Entertainment, with support from Facebook for London and Lagos premiere coverage. The film’s distributors, FilmOne, announced today that the London premiere is officially sold out.The film will open in UK cinemas December 4 and Nigerian cinemas December 11, 2026.
