President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has renamed the University of Maidugri after the late former president Muhammad Buhari. It’s now, Muhammadu Buhari University, Maidugri.
Tinubu announced this on Thursday during an expanded FEC meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja in honour of the former Nigerian leader.
