Kwara State government, under the leadership of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, CON, has begun another round of repair work at the poorly built Diamond Underpass Flyover along the Ilorin Airport road in the state’s capital by former Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed’s administration.

This is neither the first time nor the second time the administration of Governor Abdulrazaq is rehabilitating the N3.7b underpass flyover after noticing cracks in several portions of it.

Designed to decongest traffic at the ever-busy Airport, Garin Alimi and Olorunsogo axis of the Ilorin metropolis, the poorly constructed N3.7b flyover first showed the signs of shoddy execution in 2019 when a significant portion of it caved in a few weeks after it was commissioned.

The Diamond Underpass under rehabilitation is one of the badly executed projects the administration of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, CON, inherited from Kwara People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and he has continued to rehabilitate and fix them for the good of the people.
